Vince Laxton

Vince Laxton has worked as a film lighting technician since 1984 and as a lighting director (or gaffer) since 1999. Big budget Hollywood films include, “The Sixth Day”, “The Core”, “Firewall” and “Roxanne”. Other credits include a dozens of independent feature films, fourteen full seasons on various television series, forty made for television movies, five reality television projects, web content, numerous commercials, art projects, many short films and the occasional music video.

Other lighting experience includes electrical installations, rock and roll concerts, party and festival lighting.

Side interests include acting. Formal training as an actor led to the role of Victor in “Bong Of The Dead” (theatrical release in Germany and Australia) and the role of William in the upcoming horror film “The House Of William”.

As a cinematographer Vince has 11 short films to his credit. As a director two projects.
